Sunday Chapel Services

Each Sunday, Chapel Ministers deliver chapel services to both home and visiting teams. Throughout baseball, over 3000 players, coaches, and non-uniform personnel attend every week.

Reaching Out to Umpires

Chapel Ministers also reach out to the umpires of professional baseball each Sunday, conducting chapel services for them, sharing God's Word with them, and praying for their needs.

Ministering to Player Wives

Women's Ministry Leaders reach out to support the wives and girlfriends of the players, conducting chapel services for them and their children, and delivering Bible Studies during the week.

Ministering to Ballpark Personnel

Chapel Ministers also hold Sunday chapel services for ballpark employee such as ushers, security personnel, front office personnel, and many others who work at the stadiums.

Ministry to Latin America

Baseball Chapel's ministry extends to professional leagues and academies in Mexico, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.

Wise Living

“Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding, for she (wisdom) is more profitable than silver.” (Proverbs 3:13-14)

Proverbs 3 is one of the most quoted bible verses. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV)

What a beautiful verse. Have you ever read a verse over and over then received an “AHA” moment the next time you read it?

“Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure everything out on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; HE is the one who will keep you on track.” (Proverbs 3:5-6 The Message)

God speaks to us in so many ways, He is all around us and in all we do. When we turn our gaze to Him, give Him our time, our talents, and our whole self, He gives us instruction on how to live wisely, which is more precious than gold.

The message version calls Wisdom Lady Wisdom and Madame Insight.

God asks us to run to Him. Then He greets us with comfort, wisdom, insight, peace, salvation…all that we need. He is truly our daily bread. Our source of life.

And it gets better. The bible says our very bones will vibrate with life, our bodies will glow with health, our barns will burst, our wine vats will overflow. He will increase in our life! How cool is that? I want my very human body to shine with Jesus.

We are to give, to guard our minds, and to use common sense. We should not walk around with a chip on our shoulder or turn from a neighbor in need. When we live wisely, God gives us grace. He gives us LIFE in FULL.

Try it with me. Let’s live wisely and guard our hearts and minds and earnestly seek Him.

Prayer: Lord, give us the want to to seek you daily. We thank you that your give wisdom when we ask, because we so desperately need it. Life brings about circumstances good and bad, but we know you give the wisdom to direct our paths and bring the fullness of life. Help us to fill our minds with your commands. Thank you for your grace when we fall short. All for your glory. Amen.
